Welcome to the Cardiac Centre
The hospital provides a wide range of services for the diagnosis
and treatment of heart conditions including surgery in
both adults and children.
The Cardiology Department provides a comprehensive
range of cardiac investigations including electrocardiograms (ECGs)
and 24hr ECGs. We specialise in echocardiography
and have the ability to perform diverse imaging tailored to an
individual's clinical condition for the diagnosis of heart
conditions such as ventricular thickening.
Our Nuclear Medicine Department offers cardiac
imaging using a Gamma
Camera which is an additional diagnostic tool to show
patency of coronary arteries.
Acute monitoring for complex
interventional cardiac cases for angiography and angioplasty
are perfomed in the Angiography Suite. Our Angiography team at
Bupa Cromwell Hospital is skilled in all aspects of diagnostic
investigation which may lead to interventional or surgical
treatment.
Our team of consultant cardiothoracic surgeons
are supported by specially trained cardiac nurses, perfusionists
and technicians.
