PR Guru Max Clifford talks to The Times about radiotherapy
treatment for prostate cancer at Bupa Cromwell Hospital
A recent article published in The Times (Special
Report, 28 October 2009) reveals that Max Clifford, a high profile
publicist, has visited Bupa Cromwell Hospital for a successful
course of radiotherapy following his diagnosis with prostate cancer
at the end of 2006. He was treated by our prostate cancer
specialist consultant, Dr Nick Plowman.
Since being treated Mr Clifford has had regular PSA tests to
make sure that everything is still fine. Quoted in The Times, Mr
Clifford says: “I went to the Bupa Cromwell Hospital because it was
one of a small number of places where they had a particular machine
which gives you the most accurate treatment so there is less of a
risk of damaging the peripheral areas.”
