PET/CT Scanning
The Cromwell is the first private hospital in the UK to offer
the new Philips Gemini Time of FlightTM PET/CT
scanner.
The unique "time of flight" technology of the PET/CT
improves image quality as well as lowers scanning times. The
scanner also acquires anatomical as well as functional scans at the
same time.
The benefit of the new scanner is that it is able to identify
disease in its early phase as well as when a more accurate staging
is required for treatment management.

How doctors can refer
patients
Drs can refer patients using printed request forms which are
available directly from PET/CT, alternatively please call the
Department to make an appointment.
How members of the public can access the
department
Patients must be referred by their Doctor.
