Investors in People
The Investors in People Standard is a business development tool,
designed to ensure that a workforce’s learning and development is
clearly linked into an organisation's goals and objectives.
The hospital was first measured against the Standard in 1998 and
has been re-assessed periodically over the past 10 years, with the
next re-assessment due in 2009.
The Investors in People Standard indicates that Bupa
Cromwell Hospital:
- Is committed to supporting the development of its people, in
line with the Hospital’s aims and objectives.
- Has a plan with clear aims and objectives which are understood
by everyone.
- That people are encouraged to improve their own and other
people’s performance and understand the impact of the development
of people on the performance of the organisation, teams and
individuals
- That people believe their contribution to the organisation is
recognised.
- Is committed to ensuring equality of opportunity in the
development of its people.
